Ploi plans and prices
The ploi.io pricing page separates server capacity from feature access. Use these USD prices to budget the panel, then check whether the features your team needs sit on the same tier.
| Plan | Monthly price | Yearly price | Servers | Sites | Deployments | API rate limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 0 USD | 0 USD | 1 | 1 | 5 per month | No API |
| Basic | 10 USD | 108 USD | 5 | Unlimited | Unlimited | 60 requests per minute |
| Pro | 16 USD | 172.80 USD | 10 | Unlimited | Unlimited | 120 requests per minute |
| Unlimited | 36 USD | 388.80 USD | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | 240 requests per minute |
Basic removes Free's release limit, but buying more deployment capacity does not buy zero downtime. Likewise, Pro's server allowance does not include team management. Choose on both limits before comparing subscription totals.
What each Ploi plan adds
Each paid tier builds on the preceding one. This feature table shows the gates that matter when someone else must operate a client site or respond to a failed release.
| Feature | Free | Basic | Pro | Unlimited |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zero downtime deployment | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Automatic database and file backups | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Server monitoring | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Site monitoring | No | No | No | Yes |
| Team management | No | No | No | Yes |
| Status pages | No | No | No | Yes |
| Access to support | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| API | No | 60 requests per minute | 120 requests per minute | 240 requests per minute |
Basic includes scheduled deployments, website isolation, tenants, firewall management, a deployment webhook, automatic server updates and staging to production. Pro adds server insights, a file explorer, cloning sites to other servers and suspending sites alongside its backups and monitoring. Ploi does not offer 24/7 support, so support access alone is not an overnight incident response arrangement.
Yearly billing and savings
Annual billing saves 10 percent. Basic costs 108 USD a year, Pro costs 172.80 USD and Unlimited costs 388.80 USD. These are yearly subscription totals, paid instead of the monthly rates in the table.
Ploi also lists monthly prices of 8 EUR for Basic, 13 EUR for Pro and 30 EUR for Unlimited, with an exchange rate applying. For a US budget, keep the USD figures together. A student discount exists, and lifetime plans are available on request.
Costs next to the Ploi fee
Your Ploi cost is only part of operating the fleet. Account for the following before quoting a client a recurring hosting charge.
- Cloud servers. Your cloud provider bills the machines separately. An unlimited server allowance removes the panel's cap, without removing infrastructure charges.
- Backup storage. Include storage in the operating budget even when automatic backups are available. Enabling a backup feature does not replace planning retention and testing restores.
- Email and IP reputation. A fresh server IP that starts sending password resets and invoices can land on a spam list without warning, so checking the server IP against email blacklists belongs on the same budget line as backups.
- Staff time. Allow for reviewing alerts, restoring data and maintaining release scripts. Track time spent on services that your panel does not cover.
Server monitoring and site monitoring also answer different questions. A machine can be healthy while an application fails. Keep email delivery and IP reputation checks in the budget alongside those checks.
An agency with client servers
Consider a US agency with 12 client servers and 4 developers. Pro cannot cover it because the plan stops at 10 servers, and team management is exclusive to Unlimited. The Ploi subscription is therefore 36 USD a month or 388.80 USD a year, plus the servers.
For PHP and Laravel work, that buys substantial capacity at a low panel fee. Adding client machines does not force another Ploi tier. Keep the server provider's invoice separate so the account lead can distinguish infrastructure growth from tooling costs.
For the same team shipping Node.js, Next.js, Python, Go or Rails alongside PHP, compare the release work across the whole fleet. The Ploi plan price cannot tell you whether every repository follows the deployment and recovery process your team needs.
Ploi vs Forge vs RunCloud pricing
Compare the monthly panel fees and allowances before choosing a PHP panel. Server bills sit outside these subscriptions.
| Panel | Plan | Monthly price | Server allowance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ploi | Free | 0 USD | 1 server, 1 site |
| Ploi | Basic | 10 USD | 5 servers |
| Ploi | Pro | 16 USD | 10 servers |
| Ploi | Unlimited | 36 USD | Unlimited servers |
| Laravel Forge | Hobby | 12 USD | 1 external server plus unlimited Laravel VPS servers |
| Laravel Forge | Growth | 19 USD | Unlimited servers |
| Laravel Forge | Business | 39 USD | Unlimited servers |
| RunCloud | Essentials | 9 USD | 1 server |
| RunCloud | Professional | 19 USD | 50 servers |
| RunCloud | Business | 49 USD | 100 servers, 10 seats |
| RunCloud | Enterprise | 399 USD | 500 servers |
Our Laravel Forge pricing breakdown explains its tiers, while the RunCloud pricing guide covers its feature gates. If stack coverage is the deciding factor, the RunCloud alternative for mixed stacks compares that requirement separately.
When Ploi is the right buy
Ploi is a strong buy for a PHP and Laravel shop. Free covers a single site with infrequent releases. Pro supplies zero downtime, backups and server monitoring for a solo operator within its server limit. Unlimited brings team management without a server cap.
Against Deployment, Ploi is much cheaper per server for a PHP only fleet. There is little reason to pay more for languages you do not deploy. Compare the Laravel deployment workflow against your actual release requirements before increasing the budget.
When Deployment fits the team
Pay for Deployment when Node.js, Next.js, Python, Go and Rails apps need the same operational process as PHP. It also covers Java, .NET, static sites and Docker. Every plan includes zero downtime deployment with a health check and rollback. Roles and an audit log start on Team, and backups use your own S3-compatible storage.
| Deployment plan | Monthly price | Servers | Sites | Members or enterprise features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 49 USD | 3 | 15 | 1 member |
| Team | 199 USD | 15 | 100 | 10 members |
| Agency | 499 USD | 60 | Unlimited | 30 members |
| Enterprise | 1 499 USD | 250 | See plan details | SSO and SLA |
Yearly billing is half price. For the agency above, Team covers the 12 servers and 4 developers at 199 USD a month before server charges. The higher fee needs to justify itself through the work it covers.
