Terms of Service

Last updated October 19, 2026. These Terms govern your use of the deployment.sh website, panel, API and CLI (the Service), provided by the administrator of the deployment.sh service. By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms.

Definitions

  • Customer or you means the person or organization that creates an account and uses the Service.
  • Organization means the workspace in the Service that groups your servers, sites and team members.
  • Customer Servers means servers, cloud accounts and storage that you own or rent from third parties and connect to the Service.
  • Plan means the subscription you choose, with the limits shown on the PaaS pricing page.

The Service

Deployment is a business tool for provisioning and managing servers and deploying applications from git repositories. The Service connects to Customer Servers over SSH and through the cloud and git provider APIs you authorize. Your applications run on Customer Servers, not on our infrastructure. If the Service is unavailable, your applications continue to run, while deploys and panel actions resume when the Service is reachable again.

Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity in your Organization, including actions by team members you invite and API tokens you create. The Service is intended for business and professional use. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.

Plans, billing and renewal

  • The Service is sold as a subscription billed monthly or yearly in US dollars. Prices are shown on the PaaS pricing page.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • An upgrade takes effect immediately and the price difference for the current period is charged right away. A downgrade takes effect at the next billing period.
  • Taxes are added where required by law.
  • If a payment fails, we may limit the Service to read-only access until the balance is paid. Your applications on Customer Servers are not affected.
  • Payments are final, as described in the Refund Policy.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops the next renewal and your access continues until the end of the period already paid. We do not refund the current period.

Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • connect servers or cloud accounts you are not authorized to manage;
  • distribute malware, run phishing, send spam or attack other systems;
  • host content that is illegal in the place it is served or that infringes the rights of others;
  • mine cryptocurrency through the Service in breach of your cloud provider's terms;
  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission;
  • resell or sublicense access to the panel itself, except that agencies may grant their clients access to their own servers through roles.

We may suspend access to the Service if we reasonably believe these rules are broken. Suspension disconnects our access and does not delete anything from Customer Servers.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for Customer Servers, the costs charged by your cloud and storage providers, the content and code you deploy, the deploy scripts and commands you configure, compliance with the laws that apply to your applications and keeping your own backups policy appropriate for your data. Commands you write in deploy scripts, cron jobs and processes run on your servers with the permissions you grant.

Data and confidentiality

You keep all rights to your code, data and configuration. We process them only to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf, we act as your processor and follow your documented instructions. Environment variables and cloud tokens are stored encrypted.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available at all times. Enterprise plans include an SLA of 99.9 percent monthly availability for the control plane, with service credits as the sole remedy for missed targets. We may improve or change features over time. If we remove a feature that is material to your Plan, we notify you in advance by email.

Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design and documentation belong to the administrator of the deployment.sh service and its licensors. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. Feedback you send may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.

Disclaimer

Except where the law does not allow it, the Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that every deploy succeeds, because the outcome depends on your code, scripts, servers and third-party providers.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate your account for a material breach of these Terms that is not cured within 14 days of notice, or immediately for serious abuse. After termination our SSH keys are removed from Customer Servers on request or when you disconnect them, and Organization data is deleted within 30 days.

Consumers in the European Union

The Service is designed for businesses. If you nevertheless use it as a consumer in the European Union, you keep the rights that mandatory consumer law gives you. Your right of withdrawal ends once you have given consent to immediate performance of the Service and the Service has started, as explained in the Refund Policy.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the seat of the administrator of the deployment.sh service, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes are resolved by the competent courts of that place, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. We encourage you to contact support@deployment.sh first so we can try to solve any issue directly.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
